The
Team
The University of Southampton Motor Racing Team is run
completely by students and is currently the only University in the UK competing
in an
MSA recognised championship.
The team competes in the
750 Formula
Championship, run by the
750 Motor
Club. Established in 2003, the team enjoyed a successful first season,
winning the Robin Read Award for best newcomer. Currently every effort is being
made to start the 2009 campaign after a major rebuild.
Participation in the team is open to anyone who is a student
at the
University of
Southampton and has a keen interest in Motorsport.
It is the goal of the team to build interest in
Motorsport and help students gain a real experience of race car engineering and
running a racing team.
